Career Assessment
Daly's 8.1 rating reflects a career of unusual range and sustained elite recognition. He won major honours with club and country, collected both silver and bronze World Cup medals, and earned three Lions selections with five Test caps. He was not permanently defined as the world's best player in one position, but that is also central to his legacy: very few backs have delivered genuine international quality across so many roles for so long.

Player Profile
Elliot Daly emerged from the Wasps academy as one of English rugby's most naturally gifted backs, making his senior debut while still at school and becoming the club's second-youngest player. His rare combination of acceleration, handling, spatial awareness and huge left-foot kicking range allowed him to operate at outside centre, wing and full-back without losing his international value. Daly helped Wasps reach the 2017 Premiership final before joining Saracens, where he experienced relegation, promotion and a return to the summit as a 2023 Premiership champion. For England he won three Six Nations titles, reached the 2019 Rugby World Cup final and added bronze in 2023. Selection for three consecutive British & Irish Lions tours confirmed the regard in which successive coaching groups held his versatility and big-match reliability.
