Career Story
2016 — The breakthrough year. Itoje established himself as England's leading second row during a Grand Slam-winning Six Nations, then won both the Premiership and Champions Cup with Saracens. He was nominated for World Rugby Player of the Year and collected the World Rugby Breakthrough Player, European Player and Premiership Discovery of the Season awards.
2019 — Completed another Premiership and Champions Cup double before producing a monumental Rugby World Cup. His defining display came in England's semi-final victory over New Zealand, where he was named Player of the Match in one of the greatest performances in England rugby history.
2023 — A legacy-defining year. Having stayed with Saracens through relegation and helped return them to the top flight, Itoje answered doubts surrounding the squad by winning a fifth Premiership.
